Trifold SICS | Leather Clip Slip Prototype - OD Green No.1

This item is an original prototype developed during the creative design process of the Trifold SICS leather pocket slip. Each one reflects a unique stage in the design process, offering a rare glimpse into its evolution. They are all perfectly functional and are crafted with the same high quality materials and construction methods, but with small differences either in shape or the location of the clip.

This particular unit, I tested moving the clip as far to the right as possible to help the pocket slip seat deeply with minimal visual footprint. To that end--it works--but the finalized design the clip was moved back further towards the middle to help keep the clip center mass for most folders. For slim, skinny, or generally smaller knives this slip works beautifully, but for more full bodied folders the clip will no longer be centered over the knife...which isn't a huge deal, but it will look unintentional.
