Introducing, The Explorer 'Mini'. The first pocket sheath of its kind to feature an integrated loop for housing a ferrocerium rod. Coming in at a miniscule 5 1/2 inches height, this fully fledged bushcraft sheath is perfectly suited for everyday carry. Intended for those preparedness minded students of survival who always want the ability to retain their essential warmth, wherever and whenever needed.

Notwithstanding it's compact size, the Explorer Mini is a stout and formidable sheath, crafted from premium, firm-temper, full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather with multi-row saddle stitching. It is as tough as they come and fully ready for your outdoor adventures.

When designing a sheath for the ubiquitous and well-loved patriot from L.T. Wright Knives, we realized what is the point of having a 90 degree spine if you can't use it to scrape tinder and strike a ferro rod. That's why we decided to integrate the ferrocerium rod into the design such that no matter where you go, you are always ready for a worst case scenario.

Rather than stitching the ferro loop into the stitch line like a standard belt sheath, for a pocket sheath we had to think differently. By positioning the loop on the opposing side of the sheath, we are able to keep that additional width towards the inside of your pocket, rather than edging up to the corner of your pocket which would negatively impact the sheaths ability to sit fully down, maintaining a low profile, low visual footprint, and making it more EDC friendly.
