Leather Clip Pocket Slip for Slipjoint Knives

A simple pocket slip, carefully engineered for the knives that don't have a pocket clip of their own.

Handcrafted from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather from Wickett & Craig, this pocket slip is designed for traditional slipjoint knives and other small folders. A slim, matte-black PVD titanium clip keeps the slip securely positioned in your pocket, while the leather construction protects the knife and keeps the hardware completely separated from the blade.

Designed to Protect the Knife

The slip uses a trifold construction that creates a full layer of leather between your knife and the pocket clip. No titanium hardware, clip screws, or other metal comes into contact with the knife.

It's a small detail, but an important one. The knife goes into a leather-lined pocket rather than being asked to share its space with the hardware responsible for carrying it.

The result is a compact slip that protects your knife without adding unnecessary bulk.

Premium Materials

The body is made from full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather from Wickett & Craig, chosen for its durability, feel, and ability to develop character with use.

As the leather is carried and handled, it will gradually burnish and develop a personal patina. Areas that see the most contact will become smoother and more polished, while the leather will naturally conform to the shape of the knife it carries.

The pocket clip is machined from titanium and finished with a matte-black PVD coating. It provides secure everyday pocket carry while keeping the overall profile slim and unobtrusive.

Made Entirely by Hand

Every slip is cut, formed, stitched, and finished by me in my workshop.

The stitching is traditional saddle stitching, executed entirely by hand for a strong, durable seam and the distinctive character that comes with hand construction.

There are no shortcuts in the construction. It's a small piece, but every part of it is made with the same attention I'd give a much larger leather project.

A knife doesn't need a pocket clip to be carried well. Sometimes it just needs a good piece of leather between it and your pocket.
