"The Rogue V2 is more 'pocket holster' than pocket slip. I handcraft each one from full grain Vachetta leather. The beefy all titanium clip adds structure and rigidity to the design; It's substantial in hand, has a good heft to it. You'll notice when your knife is in the slip, the titanium clip is positioned right where you would want it to be on the knife itself. Having the clip stationed up and to the right of center, allows the pocket slip to carry deeper and ride more comfortably. The clip-cover sandwiches the hardware between the leather chassis, making sure nothing metallic contacts your knife. Although it looks stylized, I can tell you every line, curve, and cutout on that slip was designed with a functional purpose in mind. It's a very compact slip and required a bit of tuning to get the retention right. I wanted something that would last a lifetime, get more beautiful with age, and tell the story of the knife when it comes time to pass it down. All the days of carry are written on that leather. There is no compromise anywhere on this build, it's not quick to make, and i didn't want it to be. When you get it in hand, I want you to think...wow, this feels different."
What tools will it fit?
The Rogue was designed with one purpose, to be the best way to carry a slipjoint knife. Its dimensions are such that mid-size slipjoints like the Benchmade Proper & GEC 71 Bullnose will have their lanyard holes line up right at the edge of the leather. Other popular slipjoints like the Lionsteel CK1, Maserin Plow, and a variety of medium GEC & Northwoods knives will fit just as well. If you would like a deeper carry or have a larger knife, I'm happy to adjust the dimensions to accommodate larger slip joints. This pocket slip does not have a welt, so do not put a fixed blade knife in there for any reason.
